Bayonnais, "Jesus is the solution or the answer”

This is theme on which we had to preach for eight nights and seven days of fasting, teaching, conducting workshops for youth group and Adults as well. It was a time of blessing, encouragement, challenge, frustration and friendship.

During those days of spiritual manifestation, we saw wonders.- With youth group, we discussed the subject “When and how to choose a partner (a wife or a husband)? With fathers and mothers, we had the workshop on “Why are churches, schools and even our institutions getting weaker and weaker in our society? That attention for hours. What we all agreed on together is that parents have resigned and children have taken over. This is why the rate of crimes is getting higher and higher in the Haitian society, specially in Bayonnais.

However, during that week of spiritual manifestation, we saw God’s glory and wickedness of human being for the eight nights 163 new souls came to know the Lord, praise the Lord. The church would be filled up with people every night. Letters of invitation were sent to the non Christians. It was more than a success in terms of attendance and souls coming out of problems to solution from hopelessness to hope, from death to life, from darkness to light. On Saturday, the 6 of November at 4:00 P.M., we soft drinks and 1,300 sandwiches. Everyone who was present that evening Christians as well as non Christians, was fed.

We feel very much fortunate to know that you are behind us in many aspects. Glory to him.

At the same time, we got to share with you that the practice of burning people with tires and gasoline which used to be in the cities is being spread in Bayonnais. In less than 2 months, 4 men have been either beheaded or burned alive. All four of them were people we knew. On Friday, the 5^th of November, my wife and children saw Ciceron under burning tires and gasoline. Ciceron’s wife is an active member of our congregation. His two baby girls, Saintica and Sabrina go to our school (7 and 9 years old children). Since then, my whole family has been traumatized. My children including Yolande, can hardly go to sleep at night. This practice, I am sorry to say, is the kind of democracy former Priest + President Aristide brought to Haiti and left for the nation. It came with one man under evil spirit, a group of women and men of God under the power can make the difference.

Please, let’s keep fighting the spiritual warfare together, for one to one hand alone does not clap.
