Dear Friends,
Joy and Sadness never do walk and work together. One is the opposite of the other. Yet, they are both called feelings. The whole month of October has been a month of joy in many ways. Knowing that over 1400 children are in school this year is overwhelming. Knowing that the number of girls attending school is equal to number of boys or higher tells us that we are approaching to a real social change in Bayonnais; more girls in school than boys. 22 students in all are in college. More data will be given soon. However Alpha stayed in our State, Artibonite for one day. During his journey, he carried away every thing again. Donkeys are gone; rice, millet, corn and trees are washed away. The economy in Bayonnais now is much, much below zero. Well, each one of us is having our hands full. See what has happened terribly twice to America in three months. Oh! Lord Jesus, have mercy.
Thanks to each one of you for your prayer for my dad Lamareste. He keeps getting better and better.
We would love to be glad and joyful on behalf of the community of Bayonnais for 22 College students that are in College now, while pretending forgetting and minimizing what mud has done to our shorter school bus. For a whole week we could not have classes and further more, the differential has been broken into the several pieces. We got out finally after five days. The college students are:

This is certainly a huge daily challenge in every thing you can think of. We strongly believe that no country can get changed by itself. Women and men with strong patriotism, morality, integrity and love + fear for the Lord can and should stand to reverse the course of their History. We are praying that God will raise some of these, if not all to start making the difference. Haiti has been groaning for this since after its independence.
Than you all for contributing to make this happen. Heavy load. Food, tuition, transportation every day, lodging, textbooks and much more. To God be the glory for ever and ever.

Please support what OFCB is doing. They are clearly an example to be followed in other parts of Haiti as part of the hope for the future.
