From OFCB Ministries, Bayonnais, Haiti

Friends,

Let’s praise His Name together!

You may well ask what to praise His wonderful Name for.

Well, let’s consider the following:

1.  For what and who God is and for Mrs. Faustin Fils-Aima who, with her five children, have turned their lives over to the Lord after OFCB Ministries took her twins to the hospital.

2.  For Meyers Park United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina that has just approved a grant for $25,000.00 to put on the first roof on the first floor of the new school building. This gift provides seven new classrooms at 49 square meters each.

3.  For South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church  (SMPC) in Charlotte, NC, that started construction on the new school with their $12,700.00 gift.

4.  For First Presbyterian Church in Florence South Carolina that has invested in the project by giving $3,500.00. Their gift was used to finish paying for the cinder blocks.

5.  For Parents and community people including students that have carried on top of their heads lots of sand, gravel rocks plus expending much energy in other projects that have gotten us this far.

6.  For 101 students who took 6th grade exams in the 2nd week of June. That number includes 2 adults who attended our evening school for adults- grown ups in Bayonnais.

7.  For 137 students who took exams in 9th grade during the third week of June.

8.  For thirty 12th grade students waiting for their test results to come in.

9.  For 12 students waiting for their results which might be proclaimed during the first week of August.  All 12 of them are very optimistic about their passing; and, unfortunately, 12 more will be on the waiting list for college. (Editor's note: Actionnel uses the adverb "unfortunately" because there is insufficient funds to send all who want to go to college.)

10. For 295 new students that have signed up for 7th grade in September 2007. Classes start on the third of September. We can not predict how many will pass the exams and come, but that high number in 7th grade only makes it sound frightening because of the numbers of 7th graders we may have show up. The results at the end of July will determine where we are on that.

He is Worthy to be praised.

See you all at the end of July in North Carolina.
